Camp At Home Boxes

KMAC's Camp At Home boxes are a great way to help your child get their hands dirty and practice art skills and techniques this summer.  Each box contains supplies and instructions for hands-on art projects that don't require any screen time!

Please note that these are NOT virtual camp experiences. Your camper will be provided with materials and printed instructions. Pre-recorded videos will be available if a little extra guidance is needed, but your camper can also work their way through these projects without ever using a screen. Adult supervision and help may be required.

General Camp Box Info

  • Order Camp Boxes by June 1  for delivery the week of June 7-18.

  • Once your box arrives, your camper can complete their art projects  anytime over the summer!

  • $10 discount for Museum Pick-Up in lieu of shipping or delivery

  • $5 discount for KMAC Members (email education@kmacmuseum.org for discount code)

  • For Jefferson Co residents, pricing includes porch drop off

  • For Southern Indiana residents or Kentucky residents outside of Jefferson County, pricing includes shipping

  • All others, please contact KMAC Museum directly for shipping costs at education@KMACmuseum.org

Sculptacular Camp At Home Box - $95

Supplies and printed instructions for 5 sculpture activities:​

  1. Air Dry Clay Pottery

  2. Hanging Wire Sculpture

  3. Polymer Clay Diorama

  4. Plaster Figures

  5. Wood Assemblage

  • Printed directions for each project

  • Access to short video instructions

  • Appropriate for ages 7-11

  • Will not include basic supplies like scissors, glue, pencils, markers

  • These projects are the same as in our Summer 2020 Sculptacular Camp Box!

Art Explorers Camp At Home Box - $95
Supplies and printed instructions for 5 mixed media art activities: 

  1. Printmaking

  2. Weaving

  3. Fiber Art

  4. Wire and Shrinky-Dink Mobile 

  5. Sculpture

International Craft Box - $60
Supplies for 3 art activities inspired by craft around the world:​

  1. East African Basket Weaving

  2. Middle Eastern Embroidery

  3. Indonesian Shadow Puppets
