Artist Bio
Marcia Holloway Ross is a painter and mixed media artist. She has exhibited work at
Capacity Contemporary, Lowber Gallery, and the Cressman Center, among others in
Louisville, KY, Chestnuts and Pearls in New Albany, IN. and Stay Home Gallery in Paris,
TN. She curated Mothering Me, a group show for artists who are mothers in Kentucky and
Indiana exhibited at the Floyd County Carnegie Library Cultural Arts Center in 2024. She
has been awarded residencies through the Kentucky Foundation for Women in both 2023
and 2024. Marcia earned a B.F.A. from Pratt Institute and is currently working towards her
Master of Fine Arts at the Hite Institute of Art. She lives with her husband and two children
in Crestwood, KY.
