"Over the Hill" is the last piece in Melissa Yungbluth's PARTY series, a body of weavings that were created in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Yungbluth uses party supplies, mass-produced and easily disposable, to create these one-of-a-kind, thought-provoking pieces. Dimensions: 24"W x 30"H.


Melissa Yungbluth (Morehead, KY) is a multidisciplinary artist and educator who holds a BFA in Graphic Design & Ceramics from the University of Louisiana, as well as an MFA in Printmaking from the University of Mississippi. In addition to her duties as an arts instructor, she is currently the director of the Golding-Yang Art Gallery at Morehead State University.
