Own a rare piece of Kentucky Folk Art by famed primitive artist Marvin Finn! This one of a kind wooden bird would be a wonderful addition to any private collection. Brightly painted, signed and dated by the artist. Bird Dimensions: 13" Height x 9.5"Length x 0.25"Width. Base Dimensions: 5.5" x 3".

As a young boy, Marvin Finn learned to whittle from his father, using the skill to make toys for himself and his children and grandchildren later on. Finn never received any formal art education, but began exhibiting his work in 1972. Over the next several years, his profile continued to rise, and his legacy as one of Louisville's most beloved and respected artists has been permanently cemented.
