These small nests by local artist Dennis Shaffner are perfect for your spring decor as a standalone piece or grouped together! Each nest is hand-formed and varies slightly. Nest #7 is rattan & knit cotton woven together. Nests #10 and #11 are woven rattan and seagrass, both with knit cotton eggs included. All nests measure approximately 6"W x 3H".

Dennis Shaffner (Shepherdsville, KY) specializes in making basket forms and fiber sculptures. He uses a traditional Japanese basketry technique for his free form pieces, which are made out of honeysuckle, akebia vine, rattan, seagrass, rafia, and many other natural materials.
