Artist Bio
Sabra Crockett is an unconventional wildlife painter that focuses on the human being's relationship to the natural world and the value we place upon it. Born in Webster, New York, Sabra migrated South where she developed her scenic art, and decorative painting techniques for nearly 30 years. The skills she acquired working for the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and Actors Theater, along with the numerous commissions she has completed, inform her use of realism, and her luxurious use of pattern, texture and light. Her art graces many private collectors homes, restaurants, hotels, and other commercial spaces, as well as public walls throughout the country. Sabra resides in Louisville, Kentucky with her husband, two sons, and two cats.
