Dennis Shaffner (Shepherdsville, KY) specializes in making basket forms and fiber sculptures. He uses a traditional Japanese basketry technique for his free form pieces, which are made out of honeysuckle, akebia vine, rattan, seagrass, rafia, and many other natural materials.
