KMAC Virtual Field Trip
Art and Southern Sanctuary

Welcome to "Art and Southern Sanctuary," a KMAC Museum Virtual Field Trip. Your school has purchased or received a grant for this pre-recorded virtual field trip. While we hope you enjoy the experience, we ask that you not share this link with others outside of your class.

In this virtual field trip, students will virtually travel through the KMAC exhibition Where Paradise Lay: Art and Southern Sanctuary. They will interact with art and artists from the American South that use a variety of media and deal with subjects like race, spirituality, disability, community, and economics. Click the video player below to get started.

Does your field trip experience including an art-making kit? Watch the video below for instruction on how to use your kit to create your own yard art, just like the artists in Where Paradise Lay.
