Fantastical Worlds

Craft your imagination in this KMAC Camp! Campers will work with art educators to bring their dreams to life. Inspired by the summer exhibitions on view, campers will use a variety of art mediums to create fantastical worlds like artists featured in the museum. From puppets, to paintings, and felt sculptures,this camp will allow campers to explore how artists bring their imaginations to life.

Teen Camps 2026

Commonplace Printmaking with Erica Lewis
Tuesday, July 14 - Thursday, July 16
1 - 4pm
Ages 11-15
$95 members, $110 non-members
Learn how to create printed artworks from everyday materials! Led by local printmaker and professor, Erica Lewis, campers will investigate many different printmaking processes with upcycled objects. This is great for those new to printmaking or have previous experience.

Spin & Sculpt Ceramic Camp
Tuesday, July 28-Thursday, July 30
1 - 4pm
Ages 11-15
$130 members, $145 non-members
Campers will get their hands dirty while handbuilding and throwing on the wheel with clay! KMAC Educators will introduce teens to the fun world of clay while they learn more about the building, glazing, and kiln firing processes. Teens will receive one-on-one assistance and are encouraged to bring their creativity along! Great for beginners or those who want more time with the medium.
Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel more than 2 weeks before the start of your week of camp, you will receive a full refund minus a $25 administration fee.

If you cancel between 1-2 weeks before the start of camp, you will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations less than 1 week in advance will not be refunded.

In the event that KMAC must cancel camp, refund will be given in full
Safety Protocols:

Camp sizes are limited to 20 campers.

Classroom sanitation will be performed throughout the day by dedicated staff.

Hand washing and sanitizing stations will be available throughout the museum
Lunch and snacks:
-
Campers will bring their own lunch, water bottle, and morning/afternoon snacks.
-
KMAC will not provide any snacks or drinks. Campers can refill water bottles at the sink in the classroom.

Lunch will take place outside, weather permitting. On rainy days, campers will have lunch in the classroom with windows open or outdoors under a canopy.
