LOUISVILLE PHOTO BIENNIAL 2015

September 19-November 8, 2015

KMAC will participate in the 2015 Louisville Photo Biennial with a series of photographs by Nina Katchadorian. Her series known as Kansas Cut-Up is part of her ongoing Sorted Books project. Images in this series depict stacks of books owned by writer William S. Burroughs.

"William S. Burroughs lived the last sixteen years of his life in Lawrence, Kansas, and in May 2014 I spent the better part of week there, looking through his personal book collection and eventually constructing a Sorted Books piece."
