Artist Bio
Moon Baik has been an Interior Design educator since 1989. After retiring in 2021, she started to focus her endeavors in creative fiber arts. Baik has exhibited both locally and internationally, and her subject matters evolve from two different cultural backgrounds, Seoul, Korea and Louisville KY. She enjoys creating art in itself as well as functional art such as interior furnishings and wearable pieces. Use of sustainable materials, such as papers, natural or recycled fibers is an important practice of Baik's work.
