Two slices of agate set in wing shaped bezels are accented with two chased copper butterflies alighting on this formed wire neckpiece by Theresa Applegate. Measures approximately 11” in length and 6.5” in width.

Theresa Applegate (New Albany, IN) is a metalsmith, artist, and educator currently working out of her home studio in Southern Indiana. Theresa holds a BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design, a MAT from the University of Louisville, and continued graduate studies with the University of Louisville and the Art of Education University. Applegate's hand-crafted, wearable works of art are inspired by the natural world and incorporate foraged objects and textures transformed into metal.
