Artist Bio
Karen Abney is a Visual Designer, Artist and Published Author living in Louisville, KY. Formally trained as a graphic designer, her scope of work includes environmental graphic design, interpretive design, and digital design. She has produced award-winning work for regional, national and international clients. In 2022, she wrote and designed a coffee-table book chronicling the acclaimed work of Kentucky Folk Artists Lonnie and Twyla Money. As a fine artist she has trained at Arrowmont School of Art & Craft and at the University of Louisville Fiber Art Program. Her art includes sculpture, paintings, fiber art and jewelry. Karenabney.com
