Artist Bio

Kris Thompson is a fiber artist living and working in Louisville, KY. Her first solo show was in 2024 at Capacity Contemporary Art Exchange in Louisville. She received a grant in 2024 from The Great Meadows Foundation to travel to Venice, Italy to attend the Venice Biennale. Recent exhibitions include a show called ‘Interwoven” at Georgetown College and a show called Small Wonders at Moreman Gallery. Her work is in private collections in Louisville, including the S.N.A.P Collection in Louisville, KY.
