Artist Bio
Rea is an oil painter whose work explores emotion through color, abstraction, and the natural world. Painting for the past two years, she approaches the canvas intuitively, allowing vibrant, saturated hues to guide the direction of each piece. Bright pinks, electric blues, and glowing oranges are not simply aesthetic choices — they function as an emotional unspoken language that connects each piece throughout her work. Nature often appears as a starting point, but rarely as a fixed destination. Landscapes dissolve, horizons blur, and forms shift into abstraction. Rather than documenting a place, Rea seeks to capture a feeling, the atmosphere of a memory, the movement of transformation, the quiet intensity of connection. Her paintings exist somewhere between landscape and inner landscape. Working in oil allows her to build layers slowly, embracing both control and spontaneity. Each piece evolves through a process of responding — to color, to texture, to instinct. The act of painting becomes a way of listening inward. For Rea, art is deeply personal. It is how she processes her inner world and creates space for others to encounter their own. Her work invites viewers to pause and feel, to engage with color not just visually, but emotionally. Rea uses art as a space for healing and personal growth, she invites the viewer to do the same.
