Artist Bio
Drew Scanlon (they/them) is a ceramic artist and museum worker, primarily focused on hand-built sculptures. Their love of clay began in 2018 while they were studying Art History at the University of Florida and eventually landed them in Louisville, Kentucky, where they received their MFA in Studio Art & Design from the University of Louisville in 2026. Drew has additional experience assisting workshops at craft schools including Arrowmont and Touchstone, and currently works. Their work has been shown in Kentucky, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Texas, Michigan, Indiana, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Louisiana, Mississippi, New York, Virginia, and Florida. Notable achievements include Best in Show Award, Exhibitor Award of Excellence, and Juror's Award.
