Artist Bio

Terri Burt has been dressing the city of Louisville, KY, in style and sass for over two decades. She founded The Nitty Gritty on Barret Ave, in the spring of 2000, with the mission to create a fun, regional destination for quality vintage clothing and costuming. In addition to this, Burt is a fiber artist and mixed-media creator that has exhibited her work in several regional institutions including the Outsider Art Museum & Gallery, the Hite Institute of Art + Design, and KMAC Contemporary Art Museum.
