CARLOS GAMEX DE FRANCISCO

A painter and animation artist, Carlos will be painting in the Wilson Gallery as artist-in-residence. Colonialization’s impact is one of his chief themes intermingled into Kafkaesque character-studies or gravity-resistant landscapes. Influences include artists Diego Velazquez, Salvador Dalí, Miguel Angel Salvo, Cosme Proenza, Harry Ruiz, and Pedro Pablo Oliva.
